Most of what I've done professionally comes back to teaching in some form. Sixteen years running my own massage practice. Three years training instructors at a massage school. Over a decade before that as an automation rep running field training around the country.
Now I design learning systems and organizational development programs for the State of Colorado.
Outside of work, I write and I build. IN-COM-PLETE is my ongoing obsession: a research-heavy archive of Denver Broncos history written from the south stands.
Gutter Road is a post-collapse worldbuilding project set in the Rockies. 6th.world is something else — a transmission that comes and goes. Some people find the pieces.
Mile High Tie Dye is the most physical of them all — ice-dyed shirts in the colorways of a city, made one at a time in a garage at 5,280 feet.
I also make AI music. Not for release, not for streaming — just for me. An audience of one is still an audience.
In the early 2000s I ran higherlistening.com, a Denver music site that picked up a Best of Westword. The obsession predates the infrastructure.
